Dallas Fire Department Lt. Todd W Krodle graduated from Greenville High School in 1988, and East Texas State University (now Texas A&M Commerce) in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Education. He became a proud member of the Dallas Fire Department in 1993 from Rookie Class 239. During his 17-year career he worked as a Fire Rescue Office, Driver/Engineer and then became Lieutenant at Station 26 in Oak Cliff.

Lt. Krodle married the love of his life, Kelli, in 1995, and with her welcomed two beautiful children, Cade and Caroline into the world. Lt. Krodle found the most joy in life spending time with his family, and strived to be a hero for his kids, wife and little brother. He had a love for outdoors and enjoyed deer hunting, baseball, and participating in rodeo competitions. Lt. Krodle lived his life through his faith, and lived everyday to serve others.

On Sunday, August 14, 2011, Lt. Krodle answered his final call battling a three-alarm apartment fire in West Dallas. He is survived by his loving wife Kellie, children Cade and Caroline; parents, brother, parents-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, niece and nephew.
