Firefighter Stanley A. Wilson dedicated his life to the safety of his community for 28 years with the Dallas Fire Department. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Business Administration before relocating to Dallas to follow his passion to help others.

Firefighter Wilson met the love of his life, Jenny, at a church softball game in 1992 and the two began their journey as husband and wife, welcoming two boys, Noah and Luke, to their family. In every aspect of his children’s lives, Firefighter Wilson worked to be a leader and role model, and was the quartermaster of their Boy Scout Troop 890. He was a devoted member of his church and had a heart to constantly serve others He loved to snow ski and find time to be a positive influence in the lives of others.

On Monday, May 20, 2013, Dallas Firefighter Stanley A. Wilson answered his final call battling a six-alarm fire that had broken out at an apartment building. He is survived by his wife, Jenny; sons, Noah and Luke; mother, Nell; sister, Teri and her husband, Dean; brother, Ken and his wife Kristi; and several nieces and nephews.
