How We Help
Helping North Texas Families and Children...

We provide financial support for the families of men and women who have lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting ours.  Annual financial awards are made, and college funds are established and maintained for their children.  We help families in the North Texas Area, including the following counties:  Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant and Wise.

BUDDY LEAGUE

The Buddy League provides recreational opportunities for children with special needs who would ordinarily be excluded.  The league is unique in that it allows the children to learn about the sports and the fundamentals alongside their non-disabled peers.  Everyone involved wins here! For more info, go to www.buddyleague.org.

CAMP MOSS

BUDDY LEAGUE

Each year children with heart problems can go to camp together and be "normal kids" for a week!  Camp Moss is fully staffed with cardiologists and nurses, and is open to ages 8 through 16 years of age.  This camp is only possible thanks to many generous donations.  GUNS and HOSES Foundation of North Texas sponsored campers for 2008 on behalf of the 2007 Firefighter Boxing Team.
