Over 450 Golfers Come Together To Raise Money For The Families of Fallen Fire Responders

(TUESDAY-May 3 ,2016) Yesterday over 450 golfers came together at Firewheel Golf Park in Garland, Tx for the 12th Annual Guns & Hoses Golf Tournament to raise funds for the families of fallen First Responders who lost their lives in the line of duty. Despite the early morning showers, supporters from all over North Texas were ready to go 18 holes for a great cause.

To kick things off the Pipe and Drum Hooligans opened the honoring ceremony followed by a moment of silence to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Since being founded in 2002 the Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas has assisted 36 families with monetary support from their benevolent fund, that was recently activated with the passing of Officer David Hofer from the Euless Police Department.

It was a fun filled event, that would not have been possible without the help from our sponsors and the community who have shown so much support for our cause and the families of these fallen First Responders. We want to thank everyone for making this possible and we cant wait to see you all again later this year at the 15th Annual Boxing Tournament presented by North Texas Chevy Dealers.
