The Valor Classic at Craig Ranch

Looking for first responders to volunteer at Craig Ranch and in return, you will get a free round of golf on the day of the event. See assignment details below:

Assignment: Volunteers will be tasked with being the forecaddie (standing down range) on one of the 18 holes at Craig Ranch.  You will be the course guide and spotter for that specific hole.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Locating Balls: You will position yourself down the fairway to watch shots helping to prevent lost balls and speed up play and locate and retrieve errant non-playable shots. Each team will decide what shot they want to use.

• Attending the flag on all par 3's:  You will need to tend or remove the flagstick for players on the green, should they decide to have the flag removed

• Notify groups when it is safe to play.

  Requirements for the volunteer forecaddie:

• Experience and knowledgeable about the rules of the game and course etiquette.

• Willingness to socialize with each group and talk about your profession and experience, if asked.

• Promote the mission of the foundation.

• Handicap of 20 or better (you will be compensated with a round of golf directly after tournament, along with a box lunch at Craig Ranch).

• Proper attire: Police or Fire related logo collared shirt (if you have one) tucked into your shorts, or golf slacks with proper shoes.  Collared shirt to play after tournament.
